The Dental Monitoring™ app for patients is a revolutionary tool designed to help patients capture dental pictures easily and efficiently. The app guides the patient through the process of taking the pictures on a regular schedule suggested by Dental Monitoring™ and refined by the doctor according to his/her prescription.
The app features a number of useful resources for the patients. They can review their past photos, replay their treatment evolution, and receive notifications from their doctor. When all pictures are taken, they are automatically uploaded to the Dental Monitoring™ movement tracking platform.
All calculations start with a 3D model of a patient’s teeth, provided to Dental Monitoring™ by the orthodontist. When the patients take photo exams, the pictures are uploaded and verified to ensure their quality is sufficient to be processed. Then, Dental Monitoring™ patented algorithm is able to calculate tooth movement, including torque, angulation, rotation, ect.
After analysis, the results are checked by a team of Dental Monitoring™ doctors to verify their clinical pertinence. Finally, the results are presented to the doctor on a web-based Dashboard in the form of graphs, photos and a unique 3D visualisation of current tooth position called the 3D Matching.
When the analysis is complete, all results are uploaded to the online Doctor Dashboard. The orthodontist is notified that new results are available and whether alerts have been detected
The Doctor Dashboard is fully web-based and necessitates no installation of software. Each patient file is regularly updated with graphs, photos, and our unique system of 3D Matching.

IMPROVING OFFICE EFFICIENCIES
Simply stated, efficiency means finding a better way to work. Operating with efficiency requires working each day with organization, time-management and resolute commitment toward continual self-improvement. Unfortunately, as orthodontists, our demanding schedules makes it challenging to find time to develop new office systems which would otherwise enable us to work more efficiently and reach new financial heights.
